The special Truffle Hops (07-11th & 14-18th & 21-25th February 2009) includes a visit to the renowned truffle market at Lalbenque. It is not a glamorous market! It is a very rustic but world famous affair. The glamour will come from the truffle delights cooked by Bernard Philippe. A rare chance to get to grips with one of the wonders of the gastronomic world.

French Weekend Hops
The weekend hops are a chance for a few days quick getaway to French gastronomy, the bustling French market and to walking in dramatically beautiful French scenery. Of course … this is France … but France at its very best. You will be visiting the wonderful market in front of the Gothic cathedral in the medieval city of Cahors as well as the beautiful Célé river valley and the great pre-historic cave of Pech-Merle full of speleological wonders and drawings including the fabulous Magdalenian horse frieze.
You will be staying in the charm of La Pelissaria perched above the cliffs of the river Lot in the medieval village of St Cirq Lapopie
